NOVEMBER 22ND - WINEMAKER SATURDAY BLENDING PARTY
Come show off your tasting skills and be a winemaker for the afternoon! Stockwell Cellars is rolling out the barrels and giving you the opportunity to create your very own Red Blend. Bring your Stockwell Cellars reusable growler, and before you go, we’ll fill it with your custom blend! Guided by Eric, you’ll taste through select varietals and explore the classic characteristics each one brings to a blend. Measuring beakers, wine glasses, note sheets, and pens will be provided so you can document your process and percentages until you arrive at the perfect taste for your palate. We’ll break attendees into teams, and each team will craft their own blend. At the end of the session, everyone will participate in a blind vote to determine which team’s creation will be featured as our next Casa del Herrero Red Blend! This event also gives wine club members a chance to pick up their wine club allocations if they haven’t already, making it the perfect occasion to sip, blend, compete, and connect. TRIVIA NIGHT - OG
The first Thursday of each month our tasting room associate Marianne will be hosting our Trivia Night. It will consist of three rounds of 10 questions, with prizes for the winning team. So all of you trivia buffs come prepared for a great evening of sipping wine while pulling forth all of the obscure facts you’ve been retaining most of your life. Details: Within each round, three of the questions will be themed questions. Each month’s theme is listed on our events page. Please keep your team to 6 or less people.
TRIVIA NIGHT - Y2K
We’re doubling the fun with the addition of a second Trivia Night! Mark your calendars for the third Thursday of the month, starting at 6:00. This Y2K-themed trivia, hosted by our very own Elio and wine club member Levi, promises a nostalgic dive into all things 2000s. Expect three exciting rounds of 10 questions each, with prizes for the winners of each round and a grand prize for the overall trivia champion. Please keep your teams limited to 6 people. While you test your knowledge, sip on our handcrafted wines and pair them with Fonda Felix empanadas or one of our signature cheese boards. Come relive the turn of the millennium, connect with fellow trivia enthusiasts, and show off all that obscure knowledge you've been holding onto!
