The wine pours a soft sunset orange in the glass and has enticing aromas of spun sugar and young nectarine. Essence of nectarine continues on the palate along with green melon and lemon verbena. This wine, also known by many as an Orange wine, is made from Pinot Grigio grapes. The juice has been left to macerate and ferment on its skins, resulting in a beautiful pale coral colored wine. 

Opening with the scent of passion fruit and orange meringue, our Pinot Grigio Ramato bursts forth with full flavors of ripe cara cara orange and apricot. A dry finish of watercress and lemon peel completes the palate of this robust orange wine.

Too confident to blush, this Rose of Grenache reflects in the glass like a white sand beach at sunset, with just slight winks of salmon pink on the swirl. Flirty aromas of honey dew, apple blossom and raw sugar, as well as a slight note of jasmine create an enticing nose. The well structured palate begins with soft notes of flower nectar before easily developing into flavors of stone fruit, and finishing with lingering white nectarine and green grass. The pale color of this wine demonstrates our commitment to low intervention wine making, and the smoothness of the palate is a result of a slow, cold fermentation. Less than 100 cases were produced with sustainably grown and harvested Grenache grapes from Bates Vineyards, Santa Cruz AVA.
