You will be struck by this Syrah's deep garnet color in the glass. On the nose you'll detect aromas of cedar, ripe cherry, and delicate hints of toasted almond. Deep purple-red with a full bouquet of dark chocolate, white pepper, and tobacco.  This wine has an exquisite mouth feel with medium tannins up front. Lush flavors of blackberry, chocolate covered cherry and tamarindo meld into an impressive finish of oolong tea and earthy shale. 

The wine is minimally filtered for clarity, resulting in a brilliant ruby color with peach halos in the glass. Tart raspberry on the front of the nose moves into warm notes of vanilla, dried cherry, and cedar. Soft raspberry, along with cranberry, will continue on the front palate before opening to deeper notes of clove and light juniper. This Pinot finishes with a delightful, long lasting blend of light Rainier cherry, quince paste, and cigar box.
