2017 Zinfandel

In the glass, this wine displays the color of clear garnet, while on the nose are deep notes of leather, vanilla, and oregano. This is an old-world style Zinfandel, with remarkable flavors of cranberry and raw almond smoothing into leather saddle and soft vanilla. A graceful finish of light cranberry and rhubarb complete the palate. The mild tannins and balanced acidity not only add to the current enjoyment of the wine, but will allow for increased depth and development with ageing. Decanting is recommended for full potential.
